Heather built a flower shop near Austin, Texas, called Wild Poppy, from the ground up, starting in 2005 where she did floral, event design, and event coordination. She was so successful that Wild Poppy saw a profit after just six months and did gross sales of over 300K just a few years later. Heather sold Wild Poppy in 2009, after teaching her predecessors everything they needed to know to continue successfully, and has since moved to Southern California in search of sunnier weather. Heather has freelanced weddings and is passionate about helping clients to create the events of their dreams, both big and small.

Absolutely perfection; The flowers of my dreams. Two days before my wedding, the weather changed for the worst, forcing me to bring my entire outside wedding indoors. Wild Poppy transformed my outside dream wedding into a beautiful image of perfection. It was amazing the way they worked to utilize all of my already paid for flowers into the new space. It was amazing. Wild Popy did an amazing job. ” – Travis and Laura

Stunning. It is the word many of our guests used to describe the flowers at the wedding. Every bouquet. Every corsage. Every boutonniere. Every curly willow centerpiece. Every peony on the wedding cake. Every pink and coral rose on the chair decor. The greenery on the metal cross. The floral chandeliers hanging on the tents. The curly willow wishing tree. The flowers for Mollie and Cody’s wedding on Saturday were simply stunning!

I remember our first meeting last fall. Mollie and I knew you understood our vision for the wedding. David and I thank you and your staff for your hard work, your attention to detail, your professionalism, and your creativity. Working with you was truly a pleasure. Our daughter, Amy, will be getting married someday – she will also want stunning flowers. Expect to be getting our call!” – Kathleen, Mother of the Bride
